Haven't slept yet since 7pm last night. Yes, sleep deprivation does make you go haywire. With the fact of having to work half asleep, tired, and hyper at the same time (yes, you can be both at the same time.. it gets chaotic..) Added to that the immense amount of caffeine and blasting music through headphones, and well, you can imagine - a burnt out guy on the verge of catastrophe.
There's a song that has been playing in my head over and over since this morning, I can't seem to understand why.. but here it is.
Listen...
A Cup of Tea... 100 fils
A Cup of Starbucks Coffee... 1.200 KD
A Coat to keep you warm... 100 KD
A Warm meal (Machboos) for the family... 5 KD
A Moment of sleep after a long day of work... PRICELESS
For everything else.. there's MasterCard.

Until we meet again...
* It is official, I'll be leaving soon on vacation. I'll be gone for a while, but until I come back, you all have a great November!

* I get Japanese spam. Much Anime anyone?
A personal note to each of the readers:
Through our words on each of our web sites we get to know a little part of each other. To all of you that drop by, to read, glimpse, or simply to feed your curiosity... thank you. :)
Adieu...
...until we meet again.

Worth Fighting For
We all live for something, whether it be in regards to faith or a certain dream or goal. Some of us live day by day only to try and reach that goal, somehow... something worth fighting for. How far would you go to achieve your dreams? How much would you sacrifice? And why would you sacrifice so much, or so little for your dream?
P.S. I'd really like it if as many of you reading would post any insight into the issue. Any relevant sentence, or even word, I'm sure would be helpful.
Transparentation #3: Would a bird sing if it wasn't happy?

Transparent
I chose this name for the purpose of being transparent here in this place. This is why many like to be anonymous, it makes sharing a whole lot easier. Today I bring you a self discovery, a quite interesting one, which was not clear until this morning.
Have you ever thought to yourself, that you alone, are your thoughts, your being. When you look in the mirror who do you see? How well do you know yourself? I looked at myself today, and saw a different person. I touched the mirror and asked the person in the mirror, "Who are you? Why do you do that..."
I do not believe I was ever too proud of myself, but I believed and enjoyed everyone telling me how smart I was, especially at a much younger age. I felt special. My reports were always, "Smart, Clever, Has great potential but needs to work harder." -- That was me. I never liked working hard, I never felt it was ever needed! Today however I see this world as a very different place than it was before.
As a young boy, I loved to question things, "What If...." "What would happen..." and such questions never left my head. My curiosity led me to investigate and read books, break things (yes.. I broke nearly everything around the house to investigate it.. lol). There was always the question, "But, What if..."
The sad part, is that it grew with me, to a highly unstable level. Acting upon such unclear and unstable hypotheses created an imaginary world which I had lived in. One day, it crumbled, and left me miserable. I always thought those around me do not understand, that they do not see the big picture, that this world is chaotic and people are miserable. When in truth, that is not the case... We act upon what we know, not what we think.
Thinking too much never helps, especially if it is in the wrong direction.

Invention: Pushcar slapper.
After the success of my last invention, the Windshield Slapper I bring to you my newest extravaganza yet - The Pushcar slapper. This invention is similar to the Windshield Slapper, but is active while driving. If a car gets too close to the side, back, front, corner of your car, a hand would come of your car (available on all sides) and slap the driver of the car which is stuck on you. If indeed the window is closed and unable to slap the driver, the hand would simply push the car away in a "BACK OFF" kinda way, get my drift?

Offline
I have been offline for the past 4 days. A relief well needed yet draining it is. I had to use the GPRS to check for mail, replying was a pain, so I delayed that. I will admit I have become extremely dependent on the Internet as a daily part of my life. Without it, I'd be sent into a confused and irritated state. Maybe that is not so good, but the past few days gave me time to reflect on quite a few things. Like the new invention that I thought about... coming up in next post.

Quickies
This is going to be quite random and unrelated, here we go;
* I was watching a home made DVD last night, I was 3 or 4 in the video. I was innocent, well sort of. I looked different. I think my baby kisha never changed. I also soaked my overalls in mud, yummy.
* Transparentation #2: Are we in motion? Or is it only time that moves?
* Tantalize: My new favorite word.
* Don't you just enjoy cotton buds (Qtip), not because they're useful, but the feeling you get while using them?
* Take a deep breath...

Transparentation
A Transparentation is a phrase of wisdom (ahem!) said by yours truly. These will usually be abstract phrases, for your mental enjoyment, if in fact, you enjoy abstract mind stimulating questions and phrases.
Transparentation: If bubbles were cubes, would ice become circular and the earth flat?
hmm.
P.S. Ramadan Mubarak to you all :)

1980s
Most of us grew up in the 1980s. If not the early 80s then in the late 80s. With each generation came a certain memorable event or show. Here are a few of those memories.
- The everyday cartoons, in the morning of every single day. Especially Friday cause TV started earlier by an hour.
- The opening of Kuwait channel 2 in the afternoon. Started with cartoons, then the regular sitcoms. Followed by an educational show. The news, then the late night movie :P
- Full House, Growing Pains, Family Matters, and many more.
- Running all over the place to find 100fils when you heard "bareeed, bareeed" just to rush after the guy outside to buy your favorite lulu, thahab, sandawicha, bo3elch!
- Playing hide n seek with e3yal el ferej.. the girls and the guys, the cute crushes as young as 6 yrs of age.
- Playing soccer two on two in the house, breaking the lights, and anything in its way.
- Going to the fer3, and yes buying all what you dreamed of with 1kd or even less (I had to mention it :P).
- Competing on who has earned the most in Eid, and of course, give me 1 ill give you 2 scam :P
- Pizza Italia, hungry bunny, hardeez (the good ol days.)
- Entertainment city was a whole day trip, it was our universe when we went. The house of mirrors was the most fun. Remember Showbiz? The machine with the Helium balloons?
- Buying the first Tape to play in your old Walkman, watching MTV and learning cool dance moves. (:P Yeah, Vanilla Ice and MC Hammer were on that list too lol).
- Hanging out at Cinema Alsalmiya, especially on holidays when it was even harder to find a parking spot.
- Travelling every summer to Egypt/Europe, discovering Hide Park the squirrels, and Alton Towers, and the Pyramids.
- Swimming lessons, and when you first learned to swim. "Hold on to me and move your legs!" That is what they used to say, as you thrashed along the coast line/swimming pool.
- The uncountable number of torn backpacks from school!
What else..
- Mischief? Don't let me go there :P These are better buried in the past lol. We've all had our share, good moments and bad ones.
This post was influenced by Cuteberry's Childhood Memories post.
Memories are great to be remembered, not to be pondered on or make us feel sad about the present, with each growing moment we come across good and bad experiences. Let the good that happens today be a memory for the children of this age. One day they will grow up and remember Pokemon.. etc lol.

Morning Coffee & Note to Self
So.. I'm drinking my coffee and thinking about notes to keep for myself. What kind of notes you may ask? Simply, who am I and what am I.
Note ~ You are who you are, an individiual amongst many. You are an equal yet unique. You live, eat, drink, sleep, and work as others do. You dream. You push yourself. You fail, you fall, you stand back up and move forward. Your goals for justice drive you, let not the opposing talk push you down. There is much good in the world to go after, much bad in the world to leave behind. Many people to affect; in a great and positive way. Let this be a step forward, and never look back. Learn from mistakes. Think positive. Fear nothing. Step down to nothing. Look up. Smile, for it goes a long way. A man once said, the harder we fall, the higher we bounce. Learn and teach. Never give up. Hold on to your principles. Don't be judgemental, have an open mind. Be firm. But above all, mercy, goes a very long way.

Cool Spam!
Don't we all hate spam e-mail? Some of us have set up exclusive e-mail setup as a measure, other's only a filter, and some don't even bother. We used to love logging into our e-mail accounts and finding that we have a new e-mail - I wonder who could it be from - is usually our question in our heads while we have this excited grin on our faces. We used to hate when it was a "Hotmail Service Message" or a "Yahoo! Services message" but we loved to see a name of someone we knew or maybe even a stranger ( a secret admirer? ). We enjoyed every moment of e-mail. Time passed and one day we checked our mail to find we had 5 new messages... when we opened them, they were advertisements, later they were fraud (phishing) messages, and now.. we don't care much about e-mail.
As usual I logged into my e-mail and saw that I had 21 new spam messages. I browsed and found an email titled "good-tempered Muhammad". As I am very weary about spam e-mail I rarely ever open them and see the content. But I read the intro in my gmail account, It went something like this, "He certainly went forth, but whether he did any work, any labour, was the question" Obviously I was intruiged! There is definitly a story there.. so I did like any curious person and opened up the e-mail -- there it was, the story of good-tempered Muhammad. Here is the e-mail, if you don't want to read it skip below.
He certainly went forth, but whether he did any work, any labour, was the question, nowadays. Only the poplars queered the dream-like values, dark andsharply outlined by the moon behind them.Obviously bad worded, and hardly makes any sense. There was also an image attatched (which was the original spam message asking to buy stocks etc..). This may be spam, but for me this is the...
He could see the helmets offiremen and hear a hissing sound.
The flamescrackled as he stood there aghast. And with rage in his heart Soames ran again at thewall, and snatched at his other Gauguin.
They lifted till it balanced on the sill. Hewanted her to break down, and he didnt want her to.
Soames, not one whoremembered the old days, and could handle house property as theyused to, then. If ever he had beatenDumetrius, it was over that highly-coloured affair. The room was full of smoke now,and he felt rather giddy. He had a dread of herwandering outside to-night, so near the water.
He leaned forward and touched his chauffeursback. Some people would take that for a banshee, he shouldntwonder!
He certainly went forth, but whether he did any work, any labour, was the question, nowadays. When they got home, how should he bring some life into herface again!
But if hedoes, hes sure to want to see you, even if he cant speak.
Soames stood still; besides the pumping of his heart and lungs hecould hear another sound.
Then, seizing theextinguisher again, he dashed it, knob down, against the floor.
He himself went again to the openwindow, and stood watching the moonlight.
One must admit at least acontinuity of purpose somewhere. Through the open doorway hecould see that they had spread considerably.
Wasthere nothing he could do to divert her attention?
The engines would be twenty minutesat least.
The singing ceased, and Soames again lifted up hischin.
The Monts had been at school there, and Kits namehad been put down automatically. If ever he had beatenDumetrius, it was over that highly-coloured affair.

Drowned In Music
Have you ever listened to a tune and zoned into another world? You feel the vibrations, the essence, the rythem, the mood, and bliss. You keep listening to the same tune over and over, and every time you listen, you can't let go. You want to be the music, let it be a part of you. All you can do is keep that tune running while you let your mind and body absorbe it, all of it. It moves you, your heart, your soul--you feel it. You live it..
..that special tune.

World's Biggest Cheeseburger
Here I am minding my own business when blog after blog keep talking about food. Naturally, haven't eaten any real food in the past 24 hours, I started getting very hungry. It is all about food these days. To top it off I came accross this website, and I HAD to post it here. There you ladies and gentlemen, the largest cheeseburger in the world, and yes, it is edible...
...shoot me now.
If it itches
Scratch it. There is sometimes always a pleasure of scratching anything. I recently felt nostalgic to the feeling while I was at the beach house. I had been bitten by a mosquito, and the sheer pleasure of scratching around it, (however strange.. or normal that may sound.. no mosquitoes were hurt in the process). Do not be afraid to be gentle while you scratch, you get more pleasure out of it that way. The other phenomena that seemed to be quite pleasurable is using a q-tip after a hot shower. Stimulating the ears with a cotton swab, might not do it for most, but you all know you like it. Remember to scratch, where it itches.

She's back
..in my dreams. I saw her, she smiled. Her eyes glistened as I looked at them admiring her soulful eyes. Her cheecks, so soft as a baby's cheek. I kissed them in my dream - the dream however, was very real. Who is she...
...my mysterious woman.
P.S. I couldn't find the song on radioblogclub so here is a cover by Kenny Rodgers, Enjoy it.

Addiction
I'm not addicted am I? I have been drinking mountain dew since 7pm last night up to this morning (5 cans) and had an American coffee a couple of minutes ago at work. Now, this might be getting out of hand, but with the lack of sleep, the long 50km drive to work is really not helping. 5 hours and 43 minutes left to go. I'm getting the jitters now. Hyper to the core. Can you imagine? I could bounce up and down for 10 minutes constantly but ill probably drop the floor right after. 5 hours and 40 minutes to go. I need to get some serious sleep. Hmmm, I wonder if I should escape, escape to...
...the beach.
P.S. Here is a little groovy music for all y'all groovy people out there.
...Groovy?

Care and Distrust
Relationships. Guys you might want to read this too and provide feedback, if you wish.
"Where were you?" Is a question that is asked rather too much. It can be interpreted in many ways. However mostly it is a question of trust or care. Neither can be a question of both. If there is trust, there is already care. If there is no trust there can be no care. Women can interpret it as "Oh, he's asking because he cares." Other women would think, "Doesn't he trust me?" The question here is, on what basis would a woman think this? Is it because she does not trust him, that she thinks he does not trust her? Or are all women usually suspicious of their partner's behavior. I leave the analysis to you,
...the reader.

SMS Dictionary Profanity
One of the most useful tools when using the phone is the built in dictionary. It makes my life so much easier to enter the words by one press rather than multiple presses, especially if i'm driving. Why are words like; shit, piss, fuck, and damn not in the dictionary! I'm guessing most of these words are overused in everyday conversation, especially in sms messages. It almost always makes me manually enter them every time...
...dammit!
Frozen in Time
Time froze. I listened silently to the fading voices around me. Trying to concentrate on my thoughts, I could not help but be distracted by the absence of time. It was not a dream. I was indeed drowned by my thoughts. No sounds, no actions, no movement, only thoughts. One word kept repeating itself within my head, Complicated. Why is life so complicated. The older we get, the faster time flies, yet we get these moments when time freezes, and we're left thinking. What a life, what a world...
...so beautiful.

Pleasure to meet you
We drove up and down the Gulf Road trying to come up with ways to meet new people. In this country you either met them through work/school, friends, or extreme coincidences. It could be possible to just walk upto someone and start a conversation in Sultan or Starbucks for example. However, not everyone would accept that as a normal social interaction, especially if they were of the opposite sex. The setting has to be right. After hours of driving we only came up with one type of place: A private health club. Even then most people would find you strange because you...
...were friendly.

Got Sleep?
Three times had I had to wake up and guess the time. Sleeping is quite a low priority in my case, especially with everything I have to do. Working takes most of my schedule, the other half is consumed by games. Which leaves the rest for sleep and everything else. Is it unbalanced? Not really if you think about it. The proportion of games is highly proportional to the quantity of work. Or should I say inversely so. Either way, lack of sleep, lack of dreams, and lack of fresh air really messes one's internal clock. There's not enough time in a day to do all that is there...

Petition: Help Stop the Bloodshed in the Middle East
Option 1: Read the following;
Dear friends, Right now a tragedy is unfolding in the Middle East. Thousands of innocent civilians have been killed or wounded in the bombings in Lebanon, Palestine and Israel and the death toll is rising every day. If the US, Syria or Iran get involved, there is a chance of a catastrophic larger war.
UN Secretary General Kofi Annan has called for an immediate ceasefire and the deployment of international troops to the Israel-Lebanon border, and been strongly supported by almost every world leader. This is the best proposal yet to stop the violence, but the US, the UK, and Israel have refused to accept it. I have just signed a petition calling on US President Bush, UK Prime Minister Blair, and Israeli Prime Minister Olmert to support Kofi Annan's proposal. If millions of people join this call, and we advertise our views in newspapers in the US, UK, and Israel, we can help pressure these leaders to stop the fighting. Go to the link below and sign up now! http://www.ceasefirecampaign.org With hope,
Your friend and brother,
Transparently
Option 2: Click the link;
http://www.ceasefirecampaign.org and sign the petition.
P.S. Please spread the word.
Good Morning Sunshine
I gently placed my hand on her soft cheeks as she lay in bed. Her head rested on the pillow. Her eyes wondering in a dreamless sleep. I brushed my thumb gently on her lips. I saw a feint smile. What a morning it is to wake up and admire such a pretty face. She opened her eyes, and the world became alive again. Life filled the room, her blue shiny eyes so mellow yet so beautiful. I couldn't take my eyes off of them. I closed my eyes. I got closer. Good Morning Sunshine...

Mystery Phone Call
The phone rings, I don't know the number and I ask myself, "Should I answer the call?" I answer and the person calling ends it. There's a 50% chance that I would call back. I let it slip this time. A day later, today, I get a missed call from that number. I redialed and heard a voice,
Me: الو
She: هلا
Me: في أحد متصل تيليفون؟
She: اي أنا متصله
Me: عفوا من معاي
She: فلانه (her name)
Me: والنعم فيج
..etc. Fun and exciting I might say, yet it doesn't last for long. I'm different, this kind of way to get to know ppl usually wont click for me. Regardless, I do enjoy talking to someone...
...mysterious.
Invention: Windshield Slapper
Wouldn't it be great If a new device was invented. One that would pop out the side of your car and slap anyone who tries to put an ad in your windshield wipers. Thought for the day, how to invent...
...said device.

Hesitant to Write about World Politics
I have to say something about whats going on. I hate it all. I'm not staying upto date with the news, because I know what I will see/read/hear. I skip topics that talk about this issue, and I ignore pictures that show up regarding this topic. Why? This is reality as we know it and it is depressing. Why throw wood in the fire? Why not just show a way to provide help, donate, or do something. But stop sending me pictures of mutilated babies with the words "Damn Israel" in the end. In the end...
...actions do speak stonger than words.

I recieved a SMS from an old friend. She's in a good balanced relationship now, but feels guilty about our past. We were friends, yet she loved me more than just friends. I couldn't give her what she wanted because I only liked her as a "special" friend. I never meant for our intimate friendship to lead to that. What was I supposed to say? "Live your life.. be a good companion and look to the future" - *Sigh*. There is a lot of history there. I honestly wish her the best. Adios..
..dear friend.
Unplanned Vacation: Sick day
I woke up knowing I'm not feeling well and wanted to go to work, at least for today. After opening my eyes I decided not to since I really was quite tired. So What do I do today? I checked Safat and read quite a few posts. I'll go to the Dr to get a checkup since I need to get my Sick leave paper signed. I'll probably come back home, and think about what happened...
...last night.

Keira Knightley in A Dead Man's Chest
I saw a Dead Man's Chest last evening with a couple friends. Might I say that Keira was stunningly gorgeous! She looked really hot in the scene where she reveales her identity to cap'n jack sparrow at tortuga island. Wow.. A hot lady in a pirate costume.. Yarrr! The rest of the movie was great, I loved the comedy shots, and the great action scenes. But the ending.. what was that all about? /shrug.. I was too tired to start complaining, It was entertaining...
...nonetheless.

Today was great! After MC (I didnt go since the new guys had to go and get geared up), Myself and two other rogue guildies went to Orgrimmar (My toon is a Gnome Rogue), and had our way with the other players there, forcing them to get flagged and whatnot! About 2 hours and about 40hks later I signed off and went to work. I think I had...

I miss HER
I have to get this off my chest. I really miss her. We've been appart for over 5 months now after being together for a little more than 5 years. Us being together was not a normal relationship. We had planned on marriage, but the final steps didnt happen. I haven't tried to contact her neither with e-mail or calling, I wouldn't dare. We both parted loving eachother more than ever but it was not meant to be. I did something really crazy, I tried to call her from an anonymous phone just to hear her voice. She didn't pick up. In a way im bummed about it, yet i'm glad she didn't. I should..
..let go of the past.
I miss it..
Close your eyes. Can you feel the cold air brushing against your face, so smooth. You take a deep breath, and you feel it cold.. it had just stopped raining and the trees and leaves have this winter smell that is so unique and refreshing. It is early in the morning, the sky cloudy and all you hear are the birds. "What a wonderful day today will be," you think..
..I miss it.

200kd ($692)
I just read on KUNA that the 200kd will be distributed on the 15th of September. You think that's a good idea? Anyone who has studied economics will know that this is the worst idea ever! Think of it this way, if people get 200kd that means 200,000,000 KD of cash added to the money supply, and not any money supply but a part of disposable income. This will increase prices like what happened the last time. Prices increasing will lead to a domino effect inflation. If you think I'm wrong please tell me so, I'd really like to be proven wrong and be given good news.
Enjoy your 200kd.

Mistreated
Don't you love the way things have been going? I don't. Hearing about the news just reminds me of how "human" we are and how much evil and corruption there is. Sure, it should be normal, or is it?! There should be people out there who could really make a move and do something good, "the forces of the good" but even those seem evil sometimes, it is all about money and power and crap. Yeah, its not about me today, its about everything else which is just as bad.
..listen to your heart...
